Allison is an Editor with over a decade of experience in children’s book publishing. It has been her privilege to edit board books, picture books, middle grade, poetry, and young adult books by many beloved, best-selling authors and illustrators at Candlewick Press, Page Street Kids, and Starry Forest Books. Allison holds an MS in Library & Information and an MA in Children’s Literature from Simmons University. Before working in publishing she spent a decade working in public libraries and is a second-generation librarian (a fact her father, a librarian, says she’s legally obligated to mention). As a Midwestern transplant, she loves exploring the New England coast and collecting things she finds at the shore.
