Destiny Ink: Baking Mix-Up

What if what you drew came to life? Destiny Ink uses her imagination and her love of drawing to overcome her anxieties in the fourth book of a highly illustrated series for newly emerging readers.

Destiny enters a school baking competition and is determined to make the perfect carrot cake. It’s going to be INKTASTIC!

But as soon as she starts baking, everything goes wrong. The flour goes everywhere, eggshells fall into the bowl, and the cake burns. She wonders if she should just give up.

Instead, she takes out her trusty sketchbook and draws her dream cake, a beautiful, expertly decorated showstopper with five tiers. Then the cake appears in real life! But when Destiny slips, it goes flying and ends up on the floor.

With the competition tomorrow, will Destiny be able to make another one in time? Even if she does, could it ever live up to her expectations?
