Summer 2026 Internship

For our summer internship, we at Nosy Crow are thrilled to partner with We Need Diverse Books™, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that, since its founding in 2014, has been at the forefront of the essential work of making publishing more representative. We are eager to hear from internship candidates whose experiences align with WNDB’s definition of diversity, and encourage these candidates to learn more about the WNDB internship grant and to apply here.

As a small, versatile team, we’ll offer our summer intern the opportunity to explore a range of jobs and job functions. With both marketing and editorial responsibilities, this candidate will help create marketing materials, read and report on submissions and work on books in progress, and contribute to our collective work with creators, bookstores, librarians, and readers.

We are looking for a candidate who is a wide reader, a strong writer, careful with details while being conscious of the big picture, and passionate about children’s books.

We hope this person would be in-person at our Lincoln office outside Boston, accessible by commuter rail, at least one day a week.

The position will consist of 17-20 hours per week, depending on candidates’ schedules and availability, at an hourly rate of $20/hour. The position will last approximately 10 weeks between late May and August, depending on candidates’ schedules and availability.

To apply online, please submit a resume and cover letter to resumes@nosycrow.com.

Deadline for applications: Friday, 10 April
